Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 sticks butter (softened, not melted)
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 12-oz semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F
- Items: flour, baking soda, salt
- In a separate bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt
- Items: sugar, brown sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla
- Beat sugar, brown sugar, and butter together in stand mixer on medium-high speed until smooth
- Add eggs to mixer one at a time, beating on medium in between each and scraping the sides down
- Add vanilla and beat on medium
- Add flour mixture to mixing bowl and beat at medium speed until just mixed (do not overmix)
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Scoop 24 spoonfulls of dough onto a nonstick cookie sheet. Roll each into balls with lightly wet hands (to prevent dough from sticking to hands).
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Storage: Store in a tightly sealed container at room temperature for 5 days.
